Ten tubes of my blood have been taken for tissue typing. Six sent to the University of Kentucky cancer centre, four to the NHS blood and transplant labs. All collected by special courrier from my GP surgery probably around the time I'm writing this.
Going to be a few weeks before I hear back. I want to be a match so badly. I want my life to make a difference beyond my physical reach.

1: Buy a house and set up an account to make sure my bills are covered for as long as possible.
2: Pay off my mother's house and other debts
3: Clear my friends' debts and medical bills and etc
I'd take it all as a lump, and shove it in the most secure interest paying account I could find. Wouldn't spend a penny of it either, everything I'd do would be with the interest earned. I'd also plow as much of the interest as possible back into the account, so I could grow my income.

New medical ID ordered for my trip away. Went with the dogtag style so I've got something I can chew on when I'm nervous (and also because it's the biggest and can fit the most info) and they threw in a bracelet which I devoted to my asthma.

If you're on medication or have a condition and you're not wearing one of these, you should be. They even do USB versions so you can store all the complex shit on there.

Taking all the drugs and going to bed early. I'm taking my laptop with me tomorrow but since it's crap I may not be able to get online. I'll have my kindle as well but it doesn't do AIM so y'know, I'll be limited to flailposts and tweeting.

Found out why doing weights is so effective.

I passed the year.
At least, I think I did. I'm pretty sure I did.
70% this year is effectively an A. It's a first-class pass, for this year. I've been in the 70s all the way through for the creative module, 135. The history of literature module, 133, has been consistently in the 60% bracket, which is comfortable, although I'm getting those scores more on my ability to write a well-structured argument than from using good source material. Need to work on that. 134, the 'theory' class, which is all about various means of interpretation from Marx and Freud all the way through to feminism and post-colonialism has been... disappointing. Mid 50s. I'm not as good at that as I thought I am. Need to do a LOT of reading there and make some serious improvement.
