I'd already loaned all my available credit for this month, or I'd have done the same. Nice to know that we can be part of the rebuilding process, no matter how small.

I've been holding off posting bragging pics about these, because I wanted them to be a surprise. But, the box got to where it was going, so now I brag.

I was working very loosely from this pattern, with some generous re-workings from my sister so that I could make them flat and a bit of making shit up as I went for good measure.

My habit of trying knots in everything has cost us ANOTHER set of headphones. This is like, the third set I've destroyed because I tied knots in the cable for so long that one side just died. Next door are also back up to whatever it was they were doing last time that almost had me putting the speakers up against the wall and playing Rick Astley until they shut up. My bet right now is miniature pony racing. The bookcases haven't started wobbling, but it's probably not that far off. Noisy bastards.

I also need to NOT watch Mock The Week while I'm trying to eat. Dara Ó Briain gets me every. single. time. It's pointless even trying.
